User data deletion policy SANA
1. IntroductionThis guide outlines how user data is deleted from our systems, including third-party services such as OpenAI, Amazon AWS, and Meta. Our commitment is to ensure data privacy and compliance with relevant data protection regulations.
2. Data Retention and Deletion ProcessOur service does not store any personal data permanently. User data is retained only for a period of one hour to provide our services effectively. After this period, data is automatically deleted from our systems. However, third-party services may retain data according to their respective policies.
3. Data Deletion Steps
Internal Systems:
User data stored on our internal servers is automatically deleted after one hour.
Backup files are securely purged during the next scheduled backup cycle.
OpenAI:
Data sent to OpenAI's services is handled according to OpenAI's data usage and retention policies.
Upon deletion request, any identifiable data processed through OpenAI APIs will be removed from our records, though OpenAI’s own data retention policies apply.
Amazon AWS:
User data in DynamoDB is deleted using secure deletion protocols.
Data is purged from DynamoDB tables and indexes, and AWS ensures the underlying storage is securely overwritten as per their compliance standards.
Meta:
For data processed via Meta integrations, deletion requests are forwarded to Meta according to their data deletion protocols.
Meta's compliance with data deletion is governed by their platform policies and applicable laws.
4. Timeline for Data Deletion The deletion process for our internal systems occurs automatically within one hour. For third-party services, the deletion process typically occurs within 30 days of receiving a request, though some services may have different timelines based on their internal policies.
